FerroMolybdenum
FerroMolybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. It is mainly used as the addition of Mo agent in steelmaking. Adding molybdenum can make the steel with fine grain and uniform, and improve the hardenability of steel, which is conducive to the elimination of temper brittleness. In high-speed steel, molybdenum can replace part of tungsten. Molybdenum with other alloy elements together are widely used in the production of stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel, tool steel, and alloy that has special physical properties. The molybdenum in cast iron can increase the strength and wear resistance. The molybdenum metal thermal method is usually adopted for smelting.

钒铁
Ferrovanadium
Ferrovanadium is mainly used for smelting alloy steel. It is widely used in spring steel, bearing steel, and cast iron. The vanadium of Ferrovanadium is more than 50%, refining in an electric furnace. The various compounds of vanadium are widely used in the chemical industry as catalysts. The structural steel containing vanadium is widely used in the aviation industry. Tractor industry and railway transport industry, vanadium steel is also used in the manufacture of spring and spring. The vanadium content in high-quality tool steel can be more than 2%.
The reason that vanadium is widely used in the steel industry is that vanadium can produce stable carbides with carbon in steel. It can refine the microstructure and grain of the steel, and improve the temperature of grain coarsening, and the existence of vanadium improves the cutting performance of steel and ensures the stability of the microstructure during high temperature. Therefore, adding a small amount of vanadium in the steel can significantly improve the performance of the steel, greatly improve the strength, toughness, and wear resistance of the steel, the ability to withstand the impact load and the ability to resist decay.

Ferrotungsten
Ferrotungsten belongs to the ferroalloy series, is an alloy composed of tungsten and iron, and is used as alloy additives for steel making. Tungsten is one of the important alloy elements which are used to make special steel. While tungsten reduces a little elongation rate of steel, it raises the strength limit and yield point and raises the hardness and abrasion resistance of steel. Tungsten must have a good influence on the high-temperature mechanical properties of steel to improve the heat resistance and tempering stability of steel. The commonly used Ferrotungsten contains 70% and 80%.
